Services Provided
Barnet House Clearance offers comprehensive house clearance solutions, including the removal of unwanted items, furniture, appliances, and general household goods. Our services are designed to facilitate a smooth and efficient clearance process, tailored to meet the unique needs of each Client. We handle items with care, ensuring proper disposal and recycling in accordance with local regulations.
Booking and Scheduling
To avail our Services, the Client must schedule an appointment through our designated booking system. Once a booking is made, the Company will confirm the date and time of the clearance via email or phone. Clients are advised to provide accurate information regarding the volume and nature of items to be cleared to ensure adequate preparation.
Clients may request to reschedule their appointment, provided such requests are communicated at least 48 hours in advance. The Company reserves the right to adjust scheduling based on availability and operational requirements.
Payment Terms
The Client is required to make full payment for the Services upon completion of the clearance. Payment can be made via accepted methods, including credit/debit cards and bank transfers. All prices are quoted in British Pounds Sterling and are subject to applicable taxes and fees.
Invoices will be issued upon completion of the Services, detailing the costs incurred. Clients must ensure timely payment to avoid any disruptions in service or additional charges.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Clients may cancel the Services without penalty up to 48 hours before the scheduled clearance. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the clearance may incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 20% of the total service cost. Refunds for services not rendered will be processed within 14 days of the cancellation confirmation.
In cases of unforeseen circumstances or emergencies, the Company reserves the right to modify the cancellation policy on a case-by-case basis.
Client Responsibilities
- The Client must ensure that all items to be cleared are accessible on the scheduled date.
- The Client is responsible for securing any valuable or sensitive items prior to the clearance.
- The Client must provide accurate information regarding the volume, type, and condition of items to be cleared.
- The Client must comply with any additional requirements specified by the Company to facilitate a smooth clearance process.
- Clients must inform the Company of any hazardous materials or items that require special handling.
Liability and Insurance
While Barnet House Clearance takes utmost care during the clearance process, the Company shall not be liable for any pre-existing damages to items withdrawn. Clients are advised to inform the Company of any fragile or valuable items requiring special attention.
The Company maintains appropriate insurance coverage to protect against accidental damage during the clearance process. However, Clients are encouraged to secure personal insurance for highly valuable or irreplaceable items.
Privacy Policy
All personal information collected during the booking and clearance process is handled in accordance with relevant data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The Company is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our Clients and ensuring that their data is used solely for the purpose of providing our Services.
Client information will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent, except where required by law. Clients have the right to access, modify, or request deletion of their personal data by contacting the Company directly.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from the provision of Services will be addressed through mutual discussion between the Client and the Company. The Company encourages Clients to communicate openly to resolve any issues amicably.
If a resolution cannot be reached through direct communication, the matter may be escalated to an appropriate legal forum in accordance with prevailing laws. The Company is committed to maintaining fairness and transparency throughout the dispute resolution process.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any legal proceedings arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in this region.

Severability

Assignment

Waiver
No waiver of any right or remedy under these Terms and Conditions shall be effective unless in writing and signed by both parties. The failure of either party to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or the right to enforce it in the future.
